3 Easy Ways to Style the Everlane Day Glove for Work

Hello my dear friends! Here I am again with a styling session for you! Every time I do this, my room is absolutely destroyed with all the clothes I threw around trying to pick out everything.

I’ve been eyeing the Day Glove shoes from Everlane for a while now and finally bought a pair! Yes, the price is high. But they are comfortable and PERFECT for work, not to mention so easy to style! The quality of the shoes, and everything Everlane makes, is phenomenal. Check out their company ethics here. I expect to be wearing these shoes ten years from now(hopefully). As of now, they come in 15 colors. The ones I chose are brick. They have two little holes on the inside that act as vents to air out those stinky toes, which is so helpful when you’re on your feet walking around for eight plus hours.

I put together three simple and easy work wear outfits for you to replicate at home! I’m becoming a fan of neutral and minimal colors and style. You’ll see that here! Vote on your favorite outfit below! I would love to know which you like best.

Outfit #1

For outfit one I put a lightweight sweater with a button up shirt underneath. With the simple black pants and belt, this outfit is so easy to recreate at home. I love this sweater from Macy’s and have it in multiple colors. It’s so easy to pair with different button ups since it is such a neutral color.

Outfit #2

With outfit two I paired an H&M houndstooth long blazer and ankle length pants with a sweater I got during the Nordstrom sale. I couldn’t find the exact blazer to link, but I found a few similar. This would also be cute with a sweater in a different color like the one above. To add a little texture to any outfit, I love having the sleeve of the top or sweater underneath to peek out. It adds a nice contrast. Even tough the sweater and Day Gloves are two different shades of the brick color, they still work well together.

Outfit #3

If you’ve made it to outfit three, you will notice I front tuck on just about everything I wear! Just like I said above about the sleeves adding to the outfit, a front tuck also adds a nice texture to almost any outfit you wear. For this one, I put a black blazer with a Madewell simple striped tee. This tee comes in short and long sleeved. I’m wearing the short sleeved one. For this one you could change up the color of the blazer and maybe do a black and white striped shirt instead. So many possibilities!

Let me know which one you would wear or how you would style the Day Glove shoes!

XO- Emily
